What does National Security have to do with you?

Why should you care about the military’s relationship with the police? What does it have to do with you?

As the National Assembly opens up the Kenya Defence Forces (Amendment) Bill to public discussion, it’s important for civilians to engage with the content of the bill and the potential impact that it could have on their rights and obligations under the Constitution of Kenya (2010) and the laws in place under the Kenya Defence Forces (2012) Act. As part of its public education initiatives and to encourage public engagement with the National Assembly, the Heinrich Boell Foundation has collaborated with Kenyan editorial cartoonist Kham to produce this illustrated guide to Chapter 14 of the Constitution of Kenya (2010).
